Lulu's Estate Jewellery Launch Jewellery Club at Ruskis
First Private Members’ Jewellery Club Opens With Star-Studded Launch
Last week, Lulu’s Estate Jewellery launched the world’s first private members’ Jewellery Club with a glittering VIP party at London’s hottest new night spot, Ruski’s Tavern.
Guests at the party who included Laura Whitmore, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, Tanya Burr, Marissa Montgomery and Lady Julie Montagu were able to view Lulu’s stunning collection while enjoying a champagne reception in association with Pommery. As the night went on Quintessentailly vodka cocktails were served while guests feasted on some of Ruski’s classic caviar, smoked salmon and steak tartare dishes.
Now for an annual fee, members can have access to Lulu’s exquisite fine jewellery whether for a special occasion or for general day wear. The Club will also offer a door-todoor styling service as part of its commitment to being a full luxury service.
As part of a fourth generation family business well established in New York, Lulu’s Estate Jewellery began buying and selling exquisite fine jewellery in the UK a year ago. The extensive collection includes heritage pieces from art deco to 1970s funky chunky to contemporary must haves from the prestigious houses of Cartier, Tiffany and Rolex.
The company was established by two former senior JP Morgan investment bankers, Ian Wilson and Desiree Fixler, while the team recently saw model and Fashion TV presenter Noelle Reno join as a Partner, providing expert advice on fashion and industry trends.
The Club is already attracting high levels of interest from a diverse range of users including the fashion forward aspirational set, time-strapped professionals, overseas visitors and of course, jewellery lovers in general.
Lulu’s has also built up a strong following of stars from fashion, TV and film with the likes of Laura Whitmore, Jade Parfitt and Zara Martin all making Lulu’s their choice of jewellery during London Fashion Week.
“The club is based on the principle of luxury shared consumption. Consumers are more discerning these days, demanding more value and maximum utility from every purchase” said Desiree Fixler, co-founder.
The £500 p.a. starting membership allows members to borrow over £25,000 worth of Lulu’s jewellery, which equates to over £50,000 worth of new jewellery at retail prices. The top tier membership, which includes home visits from a celebrity stylist, is £5,000 p.a, providing £300,000 worth of Lulu’s jewellery, the equivalent of over £600,000 at retail prices. The launch of The Club, will see only 200 exclusive memberships created.
Reno added, “Having been involved with Zandra Rhodes I have a clear understanding of the power of unique pieces, while as a presenter with Fashion TV I’m more than aware of the importance of value-focused products. The Club is in the rare position to satisfy all these trends."
The Lulu's team have curated an exclusive range of Estate* Jewellery, with all pieces having been re-furbished and authenticated to the highest standard. This unique business model means Lulu’s is able to offer the best value in luxury jewellery available today.
